Dark Chocolate Self-Experiment
Recent research suggestions that consumption of dark chocolate reduces stress and
its antioxidant properties provide defense against heart disease.

Instructions:
Take a baseline measure of your stress level.  Your measure might include, pulse
rate, noticeable muscle tension, headache, upset stomach, motor restlessness, loss or
increase in appetite, insomnia or excessive sleeping, sleepiness, worry,
concentration/attentional difficulties, etc.

Consume about 3 ounces of dark chocolate each day for 2 weeks.

Reevaluate your physiological measures (number 1)

Compare your physiological measures with your baseline.

Write up a brief summary of the results:
If no change, offer possible hypotheses.

If you found a noticeable change, what other explanations might account for that.
Counter
