Xtra Credit Possibilities
Rationale: Your professor offers extra credit for several reasons:  
An incentive to learn more than what is presented in lecture or
your textbook; an opportunity to earn points to compensate for an
absence or low performance on an exam where you were less
prepared than usual; an opportunity to gain practical experience
that might broaden your perspective with respect to future goals
and interests; an opportunity to apply in a practical way the
concepts you have learned in psychology.  Please note that these
are not projects that one can expect to complete in one evening.  
You should expect to devote at least as much effort and time as
would be required to earn a passing score on a weekly exam.

There are three (3) broad categories of Xtra Credit:  
(1)  10 points:
    
Neurobics exercises
    Writing/Critical Thinking Exercises
   Dark Chocolate Experiment
   Be Deviant for a Day
  
(2)  25 points:
     
Video List
     Reading List

(3)  50 points
     
Volunteer time with Kitsap Mental Health
     Completion of Study Guide for Course Textbook
